OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2012. As part of the Sberbank of Russia-Troika Dialog integration process Elena Shilina has been appointed head of the Private Banking Group. One of Ms Shilina’s primary tasks will be the development of private banking in the Sberbank Group on the basis of Troika Dialog’s private banking business. Elena Shilina will report directly to Ruben Vardanian, President of Troika Dialog. Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of Sberbank of Russia Alexander Torbakhov will oversee development of this area of business on behalf of Sberbank.

And for us the synergy effect received from the merger of experience and client reach of Sberbank and Troika Dialog is important,” said Alexander Torbakhov. Since May 2011 Elena Shilina has headed the Sberbank of Russia-Troika Dialog Integration Committee. Prior to this she worked at Nomos Bank where she held the position of Vice President and headed private banking from 2010 to 2011. Elena possesses extensive financial industry experience. She started her career in 1998 at international investment bank Morgan Stanley in the USA. Then she went on to work as a consultant at McKinsey’s Moscow office, and subsequently held management positions at Rosbank, IpoTekBank and Sberbank of Russia. Elena Shilina is a graduate of Smith College’s Department of Mathematics & Sociology and Harvard Business School.
