OREANDA-NEWS. May 5, 2012. Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant joined the International Pipe Line & Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA). In December 19th of 2011 during the regular session in Geneva, Switzerland, the Board of Directors approved the membership of ChTZ-Uraltrac in IPLOCA.

Nowadays the association includes more than 225 members: there are international oil and gas companies, running the businesses in more than 42 countries in the sphere of oil and gas pipelines construction.

The association imposes strict requirements to the members to meet modern world standards. Among IPLOCA members there are Caterpillar Inc., Larsen and Tourbo Ltd., Punj Lloyd Group, Strogazmontazh, Stroygazconsulting and other companies. Since IPLOCA foundation to the present days the main task, the association members urge to consider, is improvement in quality of pipelines construction, safety and general efficiency of oil and gas industry. Besides IPLOCA membership confirms the global approval of high-quality products the company produces, and taking part in IPLOCA sessions Chelyabinsk plant will rather expand its export activity by cooperation with leading world contractors.

There with produced by ChTZ-Uraltrac Pipe-layers TR 12 and TR 20 with 20 and 40 tones capacity are well-known among Russian and foreign pipeline companies for their efficiency and endurance.
