In particular, the second Boeing 737-800NG of 11 Next Generation 737s, ordered by the company, will be delivered to Kyiv directly from the manufacturing facilities in Seattle by the end of May. Like the first aircraft of that type, which joined AeroSvit’s fleet in the end of March, the next Boeing 737-800 will be equipped with the innovative Boeing Sky Interior cabin, providing the passengers with the highest level of comfort available in its class.

In June this year the first two Embraer 190 aircraft are planned to be delivered to from the Brazilian manufacturer’s plant. The aircraft will be painted in the livery of AeroSvit and will perform flights on the company’s routes to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Transcaucasia .

Along with that, AeroSvit is considering the offer to lease additionally two Boeing 737-700 Next Generation aircraft. The airline expects to finalise the deal in June – July 2012 and start operation of the new equipment.

In general, the update program of Ukrainian Aviation Group Alliance’s (AeroSvit, Dniproavia and Donbasaero) consolidated fleet envisages delivery of 11 Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft in 2012-2016 as well as delivery of 10 Embraer 190 by the end of 2013.

At this, AeroSvit intends to fully renew its Boeing 737 fleet and switch to operation of Next Generation mid-haul aircraft within the nearest 5 years.

The first Boeing 737-800 Next Generation, delivered in framework of the fleet update program, arrived to AeroSvit’s Kyiv hub airport on March 31, 2012. The aircraft performed its first commercial flight from Kyiv to Tel Aviv on April 3rd, 2012.

AeroSvit – Ukrainian Airlines was established in 1994, has its hub at Kyiv-Boryspil Airport . AeroSvit serves 80 international routes to 34 countries, and also provides passenger carriages to the cities of . AeroSvit is a member of International Air Transport Association since 1996 and Association of European Airlines since 2008.

The airline was among the first carriers in Eastern Europe that satisfied IOSA requirements (IATA Operational Safety Audit) and successfully confirms every second year its safety standards through independent IOSA audits, including the latest in 2011, after which AeroSvit prolonged its IOSA operator certificate till October 2013.
