OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2012. This is 6.1 percent more in comparison with the same period last year. Production figures for clinker, which is semi-finished product for the cement production, are also over the results of the last year. Moreover, the results for cement production show growth in comparison with the same period last year.

Figures for shipping cement by the cement trucks can be considered as an excellent result, more than 325KT of cement have been shipped, which is 17.1% more in comparison with in the first half of 2011. This was possible because the last June new cement trucks, purchased by the “EUROCEMENT group” Holding for the plant, worked well. Now the plant has 19 cement trucks based on the Mercedes Benz chassis. In addition, the plant received six new Thonar trucks for the transportation of bagged cement.

It should be noted that in the past six months, in conjunction with the plant workers, Oskolsky sales branch of the “EUROCEMENT group” Holding has successfully worked, performing the functions of self-delivery of cement by consumers transport and being engaged in the centralized delivery of cement plant production to consumers. During the period from January to June 2012 Oskolsky sales branch shipped nearly 325 tons of cement, which is 17% more in comparison with 2011, including 24% when it comes to bagged cement and 14% of bulk cement.

In January – June this year, a record figure has been recorder in shipment of cement in “big-bag” bags, more than 78 tons of this kind of cement have been shipped, which is 45% more in comparison with last year.

Against the backdrop of escalating global crisis staff of the plant really thinks about finding ways to reduce costs of the finished product. Only through implemented measures to reduce the moisture content of sludge, it was possible to save 0.5 kilograms of fuel per ton of clinker and work in this direction continues.
