On July, 9th 2012 between 16.00 and 16.50 o'clock there was an attempted theft of short supply workpieces of "seal ring" made of nickel-based alloy costing 903,872 rubles and 52 kopecks. The theft had been attempted by unidentified persons, who had entered the window of the storage buffer of the 17th shop of OJSC ‘Perm Engine Company" metallurgical production (CJSC "Metallist-PM").

The police was immediately called on the scene.  The security service of "Perm Engine Company" and police identified and arrested persons, suspected in committing the crime (a lathe operator and adjuster of the 17th shop).  Thanks to well-organized and operative search activities the material assets were returned to the shop.

A criminal case under the article 158, section 3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation   (embezzlement) is launched. At the moment a question of placing the persons, suspected in committing the crime, under arrest, is solved.

Vladimir Kostitsyn, OJSC ‘Perm Engine Company" Security Director:

- OJSC ‘Perm Engine Company" has a huge territory, and the great number of material assets is concentrated on it. This can create an illusion of feasibility of illegal actions for unabiding persons.      Nonetheless, the perimeter, the company gates, the production and storage facilities are under hawk-eyed control of non-departmental security service and OJSC ‘PMZ" security department. Any attempts of infliction of damage to the company property are being operatively terminated, and the last incident proves it well.
