OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2012. Severstal, one of the world’s leading steel and steel-related mining companies, will exhibit its products at Metal-Expo’2012, the annual industry exhibition, being held in Moscow from November 13 to November 16. Metal-Expo’2012  is part of Moscow Metal Week, the international metal forum.

Severstal’s exhibition this year, entitled Steel in the City, will showcase  the widespread use of the company's products in infrastructure and civil construction projects. Metal-Exps’2012 will be attended by Alexander Grubman, CEO of Severstal Russian Steel, and Dmitry Gorshkov, Head of Sales and Marketing at Severstal Russian Steel.

This year, products on show will include those from the Cherepovets Steel Mill, Severstal-Metiz and the Izhora Pipe Plant. Representatives from the Severstal-Invest Trading House and Severstal Steel Solutions will also attend the exhibition.

ArmaNorma bars will be one of the Cherepovets Steel Mill’s products on show. ArmaNorma bars are brand new, leading-edge products which have already received very positive feedback from customers in the construction industry for their uses including the construction of bridges and tunnels and the building of nuclear power plants and high-rise housing.  А600С ArmaNorma bars have a greater scope of application than traditional bars as a result of their fire resistant qualities and suitability for use in seismically active regions and in temperatures as low as minus 70 degrees Centigrade.

Also on show will be Severstal’s online electronic trading facility, designed to trade products manufactured by Severstal, which enhances efficiency and trading transparency.

Moscow Metal Week will host more than 50 conferences, round tables and presentations  including the Russian Metal Market’s 15th International Conference on November 12 which will be attended by Yuri Sunyaev,, Deputy Head of Sales and Marketing at Severstal Russian Steel. At the conference, Mr Sunyaev will present a report entitled Severstal: 2012 Preliminary Results and Prospects for 2013 in the Domestic Market.

More than 700 companies from 35 countries will exhibit their products at Metal-Expo this year.
