Hereby we would like to inform you that as from January 1, 2013, national identifiers IIN (Individual Identification Number) and BIN (Business Identification Number) will be implemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan instead of Taxpayer’s Registration Number (TRN) and Social Individual Code (SIC). However, new identification numbers must be used in all payment and other documents being submitted to banks of Kazakhstan.

Business Identification Number (BIN) is a unique number consisting of 12 digits created for legal person (branch and agency) and individual entrepreneur operating in form of joint entrepreneurship. Individual Identification Number (IIN) is a unique number consisting of 12 digits created for individual person, inter alia, for individual entrepreneur operating in form of personal entrepreneurship.

In relation to this, we kindly ask you staring from January 1, 2013, to indicate IIN/BIN of recipient in payment instructions and documents being sent to the Republic of Kazakhstan. Payment instructions and documents in which IIN/BIN will not be indicated or in case this number will be indicated incorrectly, will not be accepted for processing and will be sent back without execution.
