OREANDA-NEWS. January 31, 2013. Following Eugene Romakov’ s stepping down as MB Chairman, Uniastrum’ s Board of Directors has appointed Lidia Bormashova as Acting Chairman, effective February 1, 2013, reported the press-centre of Uniastrum Bank.

Lidia Bormashova will act as MB Chairman until a new candidate is appointed. Uniastrum Bank has already initiated the search for suitable candidates for the position.

Lidia Bormashova joined Uniastrum Bank in 2006; in 2009 she was promoted to Chief Accountant, and joined the Management Board. Her career in the banking sector dates back to 1971 when Ms. Bormashova began working at Sberbank, holding numerous positions there until 1994. Before coming to Uniastrum, Ms. Bormashova worked at senior management level for a number of banks, including Mosbusinessbank, Avangard Bank, Dialog-Optim Bank, and Soyuzny Bank.

Lidia Bormashova graduated the All-Union Correspondence Accounting and Credit Technical College of the State Bank of the USSR with a degree in Accountancy and the All-Union Correspondence Institute of Textile and Light Industries with a degree in Economics.
