OREANDA-NEWS. The delegation of Brazil’s vehicle producer Marcopolo S.A. has arrived at Moscow’s representative office of KAMAZ FINANCE AND TRADING COMPANY Inc.

The main purpose of the visit is to conduct negotiations on cooperation with the leader of the Russian truck industry. The delegation consists of Jose Rubens De La Rosa, CEO of the company; Ruben Antonio Bisi, Director of Strategy and Devlopment; Carlos Alberto Casiraghi, Omnibus Business Officer; Luzuir Groshot, New Markets Development Director; Yuri Eduardo Caio, General Director of PoloAutoRus LLC. The Brazilian partners are being accompanied by Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ, other top managers of the company and its subsidiary JSC Neftekamsk Automobile Plant, managers of KAMAZ-Marco Joint Venture, LLC Kamaz Spetstekhnika Management Company.

In September 2011, OJSС KAMAZ and Marcopolo S.A. signed an agreement to establish KAMAZ-Marco, a joint venture for production and sales of Marcopolo buses. The main activity of the 50:50 joint venture of OJSC KAMAZ and Marcopolo is to manufacture and sell Marcopolo buses on KAMAZ chassis complying with Euro 4 emission standards and up-to-date passenger transportation requirements in the Russian Federation and the CIS. In December 2012, the assembly-line production of Bravis small buses was launched on the premises of OJSC KAMAZ’s subsidiary – JSC Neftekamsk Automobile Plant, Neftekamsk, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. The JV plans to annually produce 3 thousand buses and reach its projected capacity by 2016.
