OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus’ OJSC Olivaria, a brewery based in the city of Minsk, produced 1.829 million decaliters of beer in January-March 2013, a decrease of 10% on the year, a representative in Belgospischeprom concern told.

In March alone the brewery reduced output by 0.7% year on year to 751,000 dal.

Beer offering in plastic bottles decreased 2.8% to 1.495 million decaliters, in glass bottles decreased 38% to 237,000 decaliters, and in kegs increased 22.6% to 46,000 decaliters. Beer offering in cans reached 21,000 decaliters (down 57.1%).

Olivaria beer sales on the domestic market increased 3.9% on the year in January-March 2013 to 1.677 decaliters.

The brewery exported 58,300 decaliters of beer in January-March 2013, up 2.4 times.

Olivaria was founded in 1864 and transformed into a joint stock company in 1994. Olivaria became part of Carlsberg A/S in May 2008.
