OREANDA-NEWS. TGC-1 publishes its results of operational activities for the first quarter of 2013.

The volume of electric energy generated by the Company’s enterprises, including JSC Murmanskaya CHPP, in January-March 2013 amounted to 8,988.9 million kWh, which is 5.7% higher than the same figures for 2012. The hydroelectric plants of JSC TGC-1 in the first quarter of 2013 increased the production of electric energy by 10.5% to 3,164.7 million kWh. Generation at heating plants increased by 3.4% to 5,824.3 million kWh.

The volume of sales of electric energy in Q1 of 2013 increased by 5.3%, reaching 10,282.2 million kWh. Sales on the day-ahead market increased by 5.2%.

Operations of new energy units at Yuzhnaya, Pervomayskaya and Pravoberezhnaya CHPPs in Q1 of 2013 was 1.5 times higher than the respective figure for the previous year and amounted to 1,459.5 million kWh. CCGT generation as a share of the Company’s total generation according to results of the accounting period was 16.2%. Commissioning of new energy-efficient capacities enabled a lowering of the value of average specific fuel consumption in the supply of electric energy.

The utilisation coefficient of installed electrical capacity for JSC TGC-1 in total was set at a level of 56.8%, which is 1.3 p.p. higher than figures for Q1 of 2012.

The supply of heating energy, including JSC Murmansk CHPP, amounted to 10,826.7 thousand GCal, which is 0.3% lower than figures from the colder heating period of 2012.
