OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank CIB, the corporate and investment banking business of Sberbank of Russia, is announcing the appointment of Konstantin Pesotsky as Head of the Infrastructure Finance Division, Managing Director. Konstantin will report to the director of the Loan Department at Sberbank CIB, a position that is currently vacant. He will be responsible for formulating and developing the company’s offering in the infrastructure financing sector.

Konstantin has more than fifteen years of experience working both in the financial industry as well as in government. He joins Sberbank CIB from the Moscow City Government where he held the position of Deputy Head of the Property Department of the city of Moscow. Prior to that, from 2009-2011, he worked in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, initially as Deputy Director, and eventually as acting Director of the Department for State Governance of Tariffs, Infrastructural Reforms and Efficient Energy Use.
