OREANDA-NEWS.  July 05, 2013. During a sitting of the Government Prime Minister Mykola Azarov commissioned Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food and Infrastructure Minister to organize effective work of interdepartmental headquarters for coordination of grain harvest activities.

 ”I draw attention of Minister of Agrarian Policy M.Prysyazhniuk and Infrastructure Minister V.Kozak that coordination of work must be daily and practically 24-hour during all the time that the harvest campaign is on. Just organize effective work of interdepartmental headquarters for coordination of harvest activities. Control activity of respective headquarters in the regions,” the Head of Government has said.  

He underlined that issues of performing harvest activities were under constant control of the Government.

Mykola Azarov stressed that in connection with the growth of yield capacity (almost 24 hundred kilograms per hectare)- the demands to effectiveness and coordination of actions on the whole chain: field – transport – elevator are increasing.

The Head of Government noted that over recent years there had been elaborated effective schemes of work of grain harvesters, motor transport, railway and water transport. On the market there has emerged stable demand for services of mobile harvest-transport brigades that are operatively advancing from south to north, from east to Polissya. Nowadays there have been applied additional 3396 combines, in particular the largest number in Odessa region – 1042 and Mykolayiv region – 572. 

Mykola Azarov stressed the need to thoroughly take into account this year positive experience in attracting to grain harvest activities of motor transport of various property forms. “In the current year it is evident that there will be in need more grain transporters, that elevators which, in the first place, are planned for exported grain will be working in the extremely intense mode. All these must be calculated and synchronized,” he informed. 

At the same time, the Premier accentuated gathering yield, its transportation and storing, precise, methodical work of railway, water transport, elevators and grain storages remained the issues of public significance.
