OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2013. Eversholt Rail is pleased to announce the appointment of Fred Maroudas as Chief Financial Officer. Fred succeeds Simon Purves in the role and will join the business on 2nd September with responsibility for finance, risk and information technology.

Fred previously worked as Finance Director for Heathrow Airport, and is a specialist in financing the UK’s core infrastructure. In his previous roles as Director of Treasury at Heathrow and Network Rail he was responsible for raising close to ?40billion from the banking and capital markets to fund investment programmes.

Fred is Deputy Chairman of Local Partnerships, the joint venture between the Local Government Association and HM Treasury, and is a Director of the UK Green Investment Bank. He has a BA (Hons) degree in History and is a qualified solicitor.
