OREANDA-NEWS. Yevgeny Pronin, Deputy General Director of OJSC KAMAZ for Sales and Services, and German Gilfanov, General Director of KAMAZ FINANCE AND TRADING COMPANY, arrived at enterprises of JSC NPO Vysokotochnye Kompleksy with a working visit.

The holding includes INSTRUMENT DESIGN BUREAU (KBP), one of the leading R&D centers of the Russian defense industry, the experts of which developed, launched serial production and delivered more than 150 models of armament and military equipment to the Russian army. One of them is a surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery weapon system Pantsir-S1 mounted on a KAMAZ chassis.

KAMAZ’s top managers saw production processes and participated in a working meeting on issues of quality assurance and terms of delivery. They spoke about development of cooperation in quality assurance and further deliveries of KAMAZ chassis – the main mobile system on which the Panstir-S1 is mounted. The partners determined lines of modernization of KAMAZ chassis for other complexes developed by KBP because KAMAZ plans to make a brand-new chassis. Their discussion of issues of production and operation aimed at improvement of design characteristics of a vehicle makes it possible to eliminate defects more quickly which enables KAMAZ react to customers’ all wishes promptly.
