OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2013. Leading banking and finance magazine The Banker, part of the Financial Times Group, has ranked Nordea the Bank of the Year in Estonia in 2013. Besides Estonia, Nordea was also named the Bank of the Year in Finland and Denmark.

„We are extremely proud of this acknowledgement. We stand out in the Estonian banking scene with a high customer loyalty (2013 EPSI Survey), which is showing a downward trend in the general finance sector. We can also take pride in Nordea’s gold customer relations being rated with the highest customer relationship strength indicator in Europe (based on 2012 TRI*M Survey). This has resulted from teamwork and trust of our customers, which have also impressed this leading finance publication,“ said Andreas Laane, Head of Corporate and Retail Banking at Nordea Estonia.

„Across the Group, we have paid even more attention to the execution of our relationship banking strategy this year, in order to offer our customers the best counselling service. In relation to that we have updated our office network, enabling the customer to choose an office best suited for either fast everyday banking or professional financial counselling,“ Laane commented.
