OREANDA-NEWS. The gold reserve of the National Bank of Belarus (NBB) increased by 5.1% in 2013 to 35 tonnes, the NBB said in a release posted on the bank's official web site.

The gold reserve includes gold, silver and platinum. Silver and platinum are calculated in the gold equivalent.

In 2012, NBB's gold reserve expanded 5% to 33.3 tonnes as of January 1, 2013.

In 2011, NBB's gold reserve expanded 1.3% to 31.7 tonnes as of January 1, 2012.
