OREANDA-NEWS.   Latvian airline airBaltic has concluded an agreement with the international tour operator Tez Tour for summer flights from Riga to Burgas, Bulgaria. The new twice weekly service will start on 25 May 2014 and offer convenient connections between the two cities and beyond to destinations in the Baltic region, Scandinavia and Russia.

Christophe Viatte, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic: “This is already the second new route this year to the Bulgarian Black Sea coast that we offer in partnership with TezTour, and now Burgas and Varna add to the excellent range of destinations available to holidaymakers. For the upcoming summer season we will discontinue a number of routes, recording somewhat weaker demand. This move makes an aircraft capacity available for the new route.”

Konstantins Paпgovs, General Manager of Tez Tour in the Baltics: “We are delighted that, in addition to our Greek and Turkish destinations, we improve our charter programme offering and link the Baltic region with the Bulgarian Black Sea coast by launching four weekly flights – two to Burgas and two to Varna – in partnership with airBaltic.”
