OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2014. The share of the top five insurance companies is accounted to 45.8% of total premiums collected by insurers of Kazakhstan.

The composition of the top five remained almost the same: the primacy traditionally holds Eurasia Insurance Company, occupying 14.7% of the market; "Halyk Kazakhinstrakh" is in the second place with 14%; NOMAD Insurance with third position has collected 6.3% of all premiums; "Kazakhmys" entrenched in fourth position with a share of 5.5%;

One of the main indicators of reliability of the insurance companies is the insurance payments. Thus, in end of May, 2014 Eurasia has paid more than KZT3.5bn or 12.9% of the total amount of claim payments made by the insurance companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is the absolute leadership in the ratings of insurers who operatively pay for their clients. "Halyk Kazakhinstrakh" is in the second position with KZT2.8bn or 10.6% of the market. "Tsesna-Garant" with "Nomad Insurance" are sharing the third and the forth places, as their clients have received KZT1.8bn or 6.8% of all insurance payments. "Nomad-Life" concludes the list of five leaders with KZT1.5bn or 5.8% of the total amount of paid insurance payments.

As of 01 June 2014 Eurasia collected total premiums equal to KZT18.2bn. Paid-up share capital of the Company as of 14 May 2014 amounted to almost KZT54.3bn, which significantly exceeds the total registered capitals of all other companies in "general insurance" industry.

In 01 June 2014 assets of the Company are reached to KZT99.8bn and have increased by 20.7% over the same period last year. The company also ranks first in Equity capital, which is amounted to KZT59.4bn and as well as in insurance reserves, which reached to KZT38.1bn.
