OREANDA-NEWS. The Kalininskaya NPP is recommended to issue a passport of readiness for the autumn-winter period 2014-2015. Such conclusion was made by the Commission of the "Rosenergoatom Concern" on the audit, which took place from 6 to 10 October 2014. It was headed by the Deputy Director of the security controls and production - the head of the "Rosenergoatom Concern" Department of nuclear safety technical control and monitoring Yu.I.Drobyshev.

Checking main directions this year were the readiness of staff, grounds maintenance, engineering equipment, railways and roads and rolling stock, heat networks, electrical and hydraulic equipment, cogeneration and heating plants, fire safety, and others.

Commission experts - representatives of the central office of the "Rosenergoatom Concern", the Novovoronezh nuclear plant, dispatching service branch of the JSC "SO UES" Tver RDU and the Central Control RTN - during an inspection carried out patrols and inspections of workplaces, areas, buildings and structures of the Kalininskaya NPP, service areas of the equipment, as well as learning of the documentation and conducted interviews with representatives of the departments and divisions of the KNPP.

The passport of the Kalininskaya NPP readiness for the autumn-winter period 2014-2015, which after approval by the General Director of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom" E.V. Romanovym will be aimed at the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant, was given after the audit results.

Verification of the readiness of the nuclear power plants for the autumn-winter period is held annually in order to confirm and guarantee reliable and uninterrupted operation of nuclear power plants in the autumn-winter season, performing the prescribed schedule load carrying, assignments release of electricity and heat.

In turn, the Kalininskaya NPP experts will take part in a similar check at the Kursk NPP in the period from 13 to 17 October this year,.

The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.
