OREANDA-NEWS. August 21, 2015. Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced that the State Border Service would completely change the state border management system. In particular, two out of nine services will remain at the border: the State Border Service and the State Fiscal Service (the customs). The Premier informed during a visit of the State Border Service of Ukraine at the Boryspil checkpoint of the state border of Ukraine.

The Head of Government noted that reduction of the quantity of regulatory services is part of the visa liberalisation action plan: "We have made an inventory of what we have at checkpoints all around the country. How many services monitor one citizen or a car when crossing the border line. So, overall number of various services sitting at the state border makes up 9, which is unacceptable".

Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed that these changes would simplify frontier crossing and reduce corruption. "Less services there are, less money will be collected at the border", urged the Prime Minister.
