OREANDA-NEWS. RusRating has raised the reliability rating of OOO Kontsern “GENERAL INVEST” from "BB" to “BB+” on the international scale and from "BBB" to “A-“ on the national scale, in both cases with a stable outlook.

The rating increase reflects the growing strength of the Company’s market positions and significant growth in balances on both brokerage accounts and under management.

The rating itself is based on successful experience operating with securities, effective corporate governance, and scope for support from the parent group.

Constraining factors include the Company's relatively modest size, elevated currency risk, a decline in brokerage turnover on the Russian market as a whole, and the impact of currency fluctuations on profits.

OOO Kontsern “GENERAL-INVEST” is a Russian investment company that belongs to the General Invest group, a European holding with its head office in Italy and subsidiaries in Russia, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belarus, Moldova and Armenia. Its ultimate beneficiary owner is Vincenzo Trani.

Most liabilities take the form of obligations to affiliated companies or client balances on brokerage and asset management accounts, along with capital; own funds satisfy regulatory requirements. Assets include shares in Luxembourg-registered Mikro Fund, which is managed by Mikro Kapital s.a.r.l. and extends loans to small and mid-sized businesses in CIS countries, plus cash in brokerage accounts. Profits are heavily affected by realised currency risks. Overall risk sensitivity is moderate. Liquidity is sufficient.
