OREANDA-NEWS. Moscow travel agencies record the demand for travel at the moment and hope that the new restrictive measures in connection with the coronavirus will not affect them, according to Natalia Osipova, executive director of the Alliance of Travel Agencies.

She emphasizes that there is a certain demand for travel now, and the representatives of travel agencies hope that after the decree of the mayor of Moscow, restrictive measures will not affect the activity of agency companies that work directly with tourists.

Sergei Sobyanin, Mayer of Moscow, recommended employers to transfer employees to remote work as much as possible due to the current unfavourable epidemiological situation. The first deputy head of the press service of the mayor of the capital, Boris Bulay, told that a total of more than five thousand Moscow companies will receive letters from the mayor with a corresponding recommendation.

By the way, many employees of travel agencies have already worked remotely, , due to the lack of financial support for the maintenance of offices. However, after the abolition of the self-isolation regime, some firms began to work no longer from home, carefully observing all the necessary security measures, Natalia Osipova comments.
