OREANDA-NEWS  According to the results of the first half of 2026, the total cost of coffee supplies from Brazil to Russia decreased by a quarter compared to the same period in 2025. RIA Novosti reports a sharp decrease in shipments of this type of product from the BRICS country, citing data from the local statistical service.

During the reporting period, suppliers from Latin American countries shipped coffee to Russia in the amount of 171.6 million dollars. We are talking about the export of unroasted beans containing caffeine.

The achieved result was the lowest since 2024. In the first half of the year, shipments totaled $85.3 million. A sharp decline in purchases has led to Russia dropping to the tenth place in the list of the largest importers of Brazilian coffee, although it was in ninth place a year earlier.
