The car giant that left Russia has registered a trademark in the country

OREANDA-NEWS Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), which sold its business in Russia, registered the Discovery trademark with Rospatent on October 6, Lenta reported.
According to the documents, the exclusive trademark rights will be valid until April 2034.
In addition to cars and spare parts, the company has secured such goods and services as cosmetics, perfumes, household chemicals, car oils, various metal products, construction tools, lighting and heating installations, jewelry, watches, stationery, furniture, business management services and others for the Discovery brand. The entire list is spread over 26 pages.
Jaguar Land Rover stopped supplying cars to Russia in 2022. In 2024, the company's business in Russia passed to new owners.
In September 2025, JLR stopped working after a hacker attack.
