OREANDA-NEWS Five coal wagons of a freight train derailed in Barabinsk, Novosibirsk region. This was reported in the Eastern Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia on Transport.

The ministry clarified that no one was injured as a result of the incident in the Russian region.

"The overturning of the car is not allowed," the Eastern Department of the TFR noted on transport.

Regional investigators announced an inspection under part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic safety rules and operation of railway transport").

In May, it was reported that a criminal case was initiated after the derailment of 11 freight train cars on the Trans-Baikal Railway. The incident occurred on the Kuenga-Priiskovaya stage.

As a result of the incident, no one was injured, 200 meters of railway track and one kilometer of electrical networks were damaged.
