OREANDA-NEWS Four people died as a result of a massive drone attack on Novorossiysk at night, and 29 more people were injured, Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said on Wednesday.

"Last night, our military repelled a massive attack by enemy drones on the region. The main blow fell on Novorossiysk. Unfortunately, four people died, including one child. Also, 29 more people were injured in the city that night, three of them are in serious condition. Everyone is receiving medical care now. If necessary, we are ready to deliver them to our regional medical centers," Kondratiev wrote on his Facebook channel.

He noted that damage was recorded in three private and five apartment buildings, as well as the building of an Orthodox church and kindergarten. All operational and rescue services continue to work on the ground.

"I instructed the head of Novorossiysk, Andrei Kravchenko, to keep the situation under personal control, promptly assess the damage and provide comprehensive assistance and support to each affected family," Kondratiev informed.

According to the head of the region, three private houses and a kindergarten were damaged by UAV debris in Anapa. No one was injured there. The consequences of the attack are also being eliminated in the Crimean and Temryuk districts.
