OREANDA-NEWS  In Britain, an explosion occurred at the factory of the defense company BAE Systems, which produces ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported by The Telegraph newspaper.

"The explosion occurred at an arms factory in south Wales. Emergency services were called to the BAE Systems plant at Glascode in Monmouthshire," the publication notes.

There is no information about the victims at the moment. It is assumed that the explosion occurred inside the plant.

Earlier, BAE Systems, within the framework of the new defense agreement between the UK and Ukraine, received the right to open repair plants on Ukrainian territory and repair AFU equipment. In particular, the repair of L119 artillery guns fell under the responsibility of the corporation.
