As the foreign minister stressed, ethnic cleansing of Palestinians is taking place in the West Bank and London will not compromise on the issue of two states.

France joined the measures announced by Britain, as well as Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Poland, Portugal and Sweden.

Earlier, German Foreign Minister Johann Vadefuhl did not rule out the imposition of European Union sanctions against Israel. According to him, this should not be considered a taboo.
