OREANDA-NEWS  Many experts in the world will analyze the economic miracle of Russia, when under the conditions of sanctions the country shows good results of its development, economic theories that are written in textbooks will be adjusted taking into account the experience of the Russian Federation, said Federation Council speaker Valentina Matvienko.

"We have something to be proud of. And the growth rate of the gross domestic product, the growth rate of the economy is above the world level, 4.1%. Colleagues, in the conditions in which we live and work, this is, of course, a huge achievement," the speaker said following the government hour with the participation of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak on the development of the Russian economy.

According to her, the gross domestic product has doubled in five years, and budget revenues have doubled. "Of course, this is due to the enormous work of our citizens, who are so responsible and work hard. Of course, this is the result of the work of the Government of the Russian Federation. And, of course, this is a huge role for our president, who keeps his finger on the pulse and is constantly in dialogue with the government. Operational decisions have been constantly being made over the past few years. As practice has shown, they were correct," the politician noted.

Matvienko believes that "many economists around the world will analyze this economic miracle in Russia, with such external pressure and sanctions." "And I think that many economic theories that are written in textbooks will be adjusted taking into account the experience of the Russian Federation," she added.
"Nevertheless, we understand that the situation remains difficult," the senator said. In particular, she highlighted the problem of staff starvation. "Of course, this includes labor productivity, structural restructuring of the economy, and much more," the legislator explained.
Matvienko asked the relevant departments to prepare an answer on how to resolve this issue. "We will not be able to solve this problem without additional involvement of personnel and resources. And I would like, and I ask that this also be reflected in the resolution (following the results of the "government hour"), nevertheless, so that the government would give an answer. How much labor will we attract? In what professions? From which countries? How will we quickly rebuild the education and training system for the necessary professions? When will it start to pay off?" the politician said.
