OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Daniil Medvedev ends the calendar year in seventh place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals, according to the ATP website. He dropped two lines.

Medvedev performed unsuccessfully at the Final ATP Tournament in Turin, which ended on November 20. The Russian lost all three matches of the group stage and failed to reach the playoffs.

Medvedev's compatriot Andrey Rublev has dropped one line and now occupies the eighth place. At the Final tournament, he was able to reach the semifinals, where he lost to Norwegian Kasper Ruud.

The status of the first racket of the world is held by Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who missed the Final tournament due to injury. In second place is still his compatriot Rafael Nadal, who failed to reach the playoffs in Turin.

The finalist of the tournament in Turin Ruud rose from fourth to third place, followed in the opposite direction by the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas.

The winner of the Final tournament-2022 Novak Djokovic improved his position by three lines, now he is in fifth place.

The sixth place is still occupied by the Canadian Felix Auger-Alliassim, the American Taylor Fritz is in ninth (after Medvedev and Rublev). The Pole Hubert Hurkach closes the top 10.
