Mishustin named the number of Russians studying at Chinese universities

OREANDA-NEWS Russia and China are expanding cooperation in the field of personnel training, and about 20,000 Russians are currently studying in China, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at the 30th regular meeting of the heads of government of the two countries.
"Cooperation in the field of higher education is expanding. Over 50,000 young people from China study in Russia. There are about 20,000 Russian students in Chinese universities now," Mishustin said.
He noted that much attention is being paid to the issue of personnel training. According to him, the countries ensure the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level on holding a "cross-year" of education in Russia and China and the creation of the Russian-Chinese Institute of Fundamental Research.
