OREANDA-NEWS  Armenia's status in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) can only be discussed by Armenia itself, a country that may decide to withdraw from the organization. This was stated by Prime Minister of the Republic Nikol Pashinyan, according to the Armenian Express.

"As for the status in the EAEU, the status in the EAEU, according to the EAEU regulations, can only be discussed by Armenia itself, that is, a member country that may decide to withdraw, there is no other procedure," he said.

At the same time, the politician stressed that any questions about Armenia's membership in the organization can be discussed with other members of the association. According to him, Yerevan is ready to answer all available questions.

Earlier, Pashinyan said that Armenia would not quarrel with Russia because of the disparity in the scale of the two countries. The Armenian Prime Minister called Russia a superpower, noting that its interests must be taken into account.
