OREANDA-NEWS The coalition around the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SPP) of President Aleksandar Vucic receives 46.75% of the vote, according to the republican election commission, after counting 100% of the votes, complaints are expected to be considered for approval of the final results.

On December 30, the RIK decided to re-vote in eight precincts due to complaints and technical problems in the parliamentary elections held on December 17. The will was expressed from 7.00 (9.00 Moscow time) to 20.00 (22.00 Moscow time), 5,352 people had the right to vote.

On Wednesday night, data from the results of processing materials from 8,273 out of 8,273 polling stations appeared on a special website of the election commission.

The coalition "Aleksandar Vucic - Serbia does not dare to stop" is leading with 46.75% of support. Their main competitors, the pro-Western opposition bloc Serbia Against Violence, are in second place with 23.66%. In third place, the Socialist Party of Serbia, which is part of the government coalition of First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and its partners, receives 6.55%. The Assembly may also include the patriotic coalition "Dr. Milos Jovanovic – Hope for Serbia" with 5.02% of the votes and the Eurosceptic pulmonologist bloc "We, the voice of the people - Professor, Dr. Branimir Nestorovich", which according to these data receives 4.69% of support. The entry qualification for national minority movements is calculated according to a different formula, the Union of Hungarians of Vojvodina is guaranteed to enter the Assembly with 1.7%.

Meetings of the RIC are expected, at which the republican commission will consider complaints and approve the final results of the will within another 72 hours. According to the law, 30 days are allotted for awarding mandates to deputies of the new convocation of the Assembly, after which a period of 90 days opens for the formation of a new government of Serbia with a four-year mandate.

The RIC has previously registered 18 blocks and parties. Over 2.8 thousand candidates applied for 250 seats in the unicameral parliament. In order to join the Assembly, the political movement needs to overcome the 3% vote barrier.
