OREANDA-NEWS The permanent Representatives of the EU member states have chosen the date of the first meeting to coordinate the European Commission's proposal on the 19th package of anti—Russian sanctions. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
It is known that the EU will hold its first meeting on the 19th package of anti-Russian sanctions on September 26. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. Brussels time (10:30 a.m. Moscow time).
When the permanent representatives come to an agreement on new restrictions against Russia, the document will be submitted for technical approval by the countries of the community at the ministerial level. Earlier, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, called on the EU to adopt sanctions against Russia. "As the threats grow, so will our pressure. I urge EU leaders to promptly approve our 19th package of sanctions," she said.
