OREANDA-NEWS  The McDonald's fast food chain has registered a trademark with the image of a clown in Russia, RIA Novosti reports. Since March 2022, the operation of these fast food restaurants in the country has been suspended.

According to the agency, the application for registration was submitted back in December 2024. Rospatent approved it in 2026. Under this trademark, McDonald's will be able to provide services to restaurants, fast food outlets, catering, as well as deliver food and drinks.

Earlier it became known that Toyota, which left Russia, also registered a brand in the country.
