OREANDA-NEWS The Russian Foreign Ministry has protested to German Ambassador Alexander Graf Lambsdorff in connection with a meeting in Kiev between Bundestag deputy Roderich Kiesewetter and Akhmed Zakayev, head of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria terrorist organization banned in Russia (recognized by Rosfinmonitoring as an extremist terrorist). This is reported in a statement released by the Foreign Ministry.
"The German MP welcomed the anti-Russian activities of terrorists from this organization who took an active part in sabotage actions in the Belgorod and Kursk regions, and called on them to actively cooperate with Germany, including to recruit Russian relocators living in Germany in order to conduct operations to destabilize the socio—political situation in Russia," the Foreign Ministry said.
The ministry stressed that Moscow regards this meeting as "indisputable proof of Germany's intention to interfere in internal affairs and create threats to Russia's national security," including through cooperation with terrorist structures under the auspices of the Ukrainian regime.
On April 23, Lviv Mayor Andrei Sadovoy unveiled a memorial plaque in honor of the first president of the self-proclaimed Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Dzhokhar Dudayev (recognized by Rosfinmonitoring as an extremist terrorist).
