OREANDA-NEWS  The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is currently in contact with Iranian nuclear safety authorities to determine the current status of nuclear facilities. According to a press release on the agency's website, the IAEA said that they are "currently in contact with the Iranian nuclear safety authorities to clarify the status of relevant nuclear facilities and assess broader implications for nuclear safety and security."

The statement added that the Iranian authorities confirmed to the IAEA that the Natanz uranium enrichment facility had been affected during the recent Israeli attacks, but there has been no increase in radiation levels. It also reported that facilities in Isfahan and Fordo were not affected at this time.
