OREANDA-NEWS German Onugha, the Russian striker of the Turkish Kayserispor, compared the standard of living in his homeland and in Denmark, where he played for Copenhagen and Vejle. This is reported by Sport24.
According to him, the standard of living in Russia is definitely not lower. "We have Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Krasnodar. Everything is within walking distance, just order food, get somewhere, all kinds of barbershops," Onugha said.
He noted that the football infrastructure in professional Danish clubs is inferior to that of Russian teams. "Copenhagen is not even close. The hall was built several decades ago, there is only cold water for restoration, there is no recreation room at all. Even Rubin's base is better," said the footballer.
Onugha played in Russia for Krasnodar, Rubin, Tambov and Krylia Sovetov. Last season, the striker scored eight goals and made one assist in 27 Turkish League matches.
