TOREANDA-NEWS  he National Council of Slovakia has once again condemned Russia's actions in Ukraine. The deputies adopted a resolution according to which the Russian political regime is recognized as a terrorist, and Russia is a state supporting terrorism. This is reported on the website of the Slovak Parliament.

During the meeting, the deputies also stressed that they do not recognize the accession of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to Russia. The parliament, it follows from the message, supported the creation of a special tribunal for Russia's "crimes" in Ukraine.

The deputies believe that Russia is waging a "hybrid war" on the territory of Slovakia. In this regard, the Parliament called on law enforcement agencies to take measures "to preserve security and democracy in Slovakia."

After the start of the special operation in Ukraine, a number of countries recognized Russia as a "terrorist state". Estonia and Latvia have declared the Russian Federation a sponsor of terrorism, the European Parliament also announced this. Lithuania and Poland recognized Russia as a terrorist regime, a similar resolution was adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. At the same time, since October 2022, the idea of creating an international tribunal for the trial of "Russian aggression in Ukraine" has been discussed. The Kremlin considers the creation of the tribunal illegitimate.
