OREANDA-NEWS The Presidents of Russia and the United Arab Emirates, Vladimir Putin and Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, completed the negotiations, which took place in the format of a working breakfast. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

Russian-Emirati talks were held at the Qasr Al-Watan Palace, during which prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation were discussed, the agency notes.

Putin, opening negotiations with the participation of delegations, said that he intends to discuss with Nahyan the conflict between Israel and Hamas, as well as the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. The Russian President invited his counterpart from the UAE to the BRICS summit in Kazan, which will be held in 2024.

The UAE president said earlier at the talks that his country would continue to strengthen relations with Russia.

On December 6, Putin arrived on a working visit to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. The president will also visit Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. During his official visits to these countries, he intends to discuss the development of bilateral trade.

Earlier, Putin joked about the "all-powerful Russian government."
