The time frame for the restoration of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz has been named

OREANDA-NEWS It will take months to bring shipping through the Strait of Hormuz back to pre-war levels. The timing of the restoration of transport links was named by the head of the Japanese shipping company NYK Line, Takaya Soga, quoted by the Financial Times.
According to the expert, it will not be possible to quickly restore navigation in the strait due to floating mines: up to 80 charges may remain in the water area. Currently, ships can only follow two routes — near the Iranian island of Larak and along the coast of Oman.
"The routes available for navigation are extremely limited — these are very narrow corridors. Even if ships can enter and exit the strait without hindrance, for some time the volume of traffic is likely to be less than half of the usual level," explained Soga.
After reaching an agreement with the United States to end the conflict, Tehran said that Iran and Oman were determining the conditions for managing navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian Foreign Ministry criticized the joint statement by the United States and the countries of the Gulf Arab Cooperation Council (GCC) on the situation in the water area and called the positions outlined in this document "irresponsible and provocative."
According to CNN, the Strait of Hormuz is currently in chaos, with confusion in routes, posing a danger to commercial vessels and their crews. Three different routes were formed in the region to pass through the strait, the southern one off the coast of Oman, the second route was used before the start of hostilities against Iran, it runs through the center of the strait, the third, to the north, is controlled by Iran.
