OREANDA-NEWS  In Ukraine, only two deputies out of 423 members of parliament went to the front. This was reported in his Telegram channel by military correspondent Alexander Kotz, referring to the statement of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk.

At the same time, the journalist noted that Ukrainian deputies attend meetings of the Verkhovna Rada and committees. He also drew attention to the fact that Stefanchuk could not name cases when one of the children of parliamentarians went to the war zone.

"We still have more deputies at the front. And not only the State Duma," Kots compared and recalled that the day before, the vice speaker of the regional legislative assembly, lieutenant colonel of the GRU special forces Andrei Panferov went to the special operation zone from Novosibirsk. The military commander also said that Panferov's son is in the volunteer battalion.

Earlier, on January 12, it was reported that the deputy of the State Duma Dmitry Khubezov was demobilized and left the area of the SVO. It was noted that he was one of the four deputies who were the first to go to the military enlistment offices after the announcement of partial mobilization. In addition to Khubezov, Vitaly Milonov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children, Dmitry Sablin, Deputy chairman of the Defense Committee, and Sergey Sokol, Deputy chairman of the Economic Policy Committee, wished to sign a contract.
