With the assistance of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) and personally Sergey Kogogin, Director General of the company, the Symphonic Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre under Valery Gergiev (Saint Petersburg) will perform in Naberezhnye Chelny. The concert will take place in the Organ Hall on the 18th of April: the musicians will offer the programme of the Moscow Easter Festival.

The XVI Mocow Easter Festival dedicated to the 135th anniversary of Igor Stravinsky will be held fr om April 16 to May 9, 2017. During the three weeks of the Festival, Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky Orchestra will appear in more than 20 Russian regions, including Moscow, Kazan, Almetyevsk, Orenburg, Magnitogorsk, Ekaterinburg, Surgut, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Omsk, Perm, Ulyanovsk, Saransk, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladimir, Tula, Kursk, Rostov-on-Don, Vladikavkaz, Stavropol, and Voronezh. 

In a face to face meeting the famous conductor and the head of the auto giant negotiated that Naberezhnye Chelny joined the list of the cities wh ere Valery Gergiev's orchestra would present the musical programme. "I wish our city became Russian musicians' friend. She deserves a more vibrant cultural life," Sergey Kogogin told in an interview.
