OREANDA-NEWS  Russian film companies have complained about the lack of domestic cameras and equipment for filming, RBC reports.

It is noted that the industry is experiencing a high level of dependence on imported equipment, its market share is 90 percent.

It is also indicated that Russian manufacturers do not have enough capacity to replace foreign brands under sanctions, and it will be difficult to increase them without government incentives.

"Import substitution in the production of equipment and software for film production is a process that can take years or even decades and is extremely relevant for the film industry," the article says.

Earlier, Izvestia named the most popular products for parallel imports. Most often, electronics and household goods are supplied to Russia through parallel imports.
