OREANDA-NEWS The Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia (FMBA) has registered a domestic drug for the treatment of one type of cancer — prostate cancer. The registration of the import-substituted drug is reported in the Telegram channel of the FMBA.

The agency clarified that we are talking about the radio drug Rakurs (223Ra), which simultaneously destroys metastases and affects pain, allowing you to stop taking additional medications.

"Registration of a domestic drug will reduce logistical delays and increase the availability of this treatment method for citizens," the FMBA said.

On December 24, it became known that the first phase of clinical trials of a cancer vaccine will be conducted in Russia. 50 cancer patients will take part in them.
