OREANDA-NEWS  Currently, artificial intelligence (AI) technologies can be called weapons. Andrey Bezrukov, head of the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CBST), made such an assessment in his column on the pages of the Izvestia newspaper.

The head noted that currently the use of AI technologies is practically not regulated in any way, although they are actively used, in particular, in combat operations.

"We must clearly understand that artificial intelligence technologies are no longer just a business tool. It's a weapon," the expert said.

In his opinion, AI technologies should be regulated by the state and international organizations, and the war crimes committed with their use by the Kiev regime should be given a legal assessment.

Earlier, Breaking Defense, citing Vice Admiral Frank Whitworth, director of the United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, reported that using AI tools would allow the United States to detect and destroy a target anywhere on Earth in a few minutes.
