OREANDA-NEWS  At the International Aviation and Space Exhibition in Iran, among the developments of the Russian rocket and space industry, a mock-up of the Angara-1.2 light class rocket is presented as part of the Roscosmos joint exposition. And as another possible implementation of the Angara project, there is a mock-up of the Angara-A3 medium-class rocket.

According to the General Director of the State Scientific Research Center named after Khrunicheva Alexey Brewhenko, it is very important to enter new markets. "One of these markets is the dynamically developing market of the Middle Eastern states," the expert noted.

The Angara space rocket complex is being created on the basis of a unified range of light and heavy class rockets. "Angara" will be able to output almost the entire range of payloads in a wide range of heights. The same applies to the inclinations of the orbits. This information was provided by Roscosmos.

It should be recalled that the "Angara" family includes light carriers "Angara-1.2", medium - "Angara-A3", heavy - "Angara-A5" - and upgraded "Angara-A5M", increased payload - "Angara-A5B". Many have written that the uniqueness of the "Angara" is in its modularity. The universal missile modules URM-1 and URM-2 serve as the basis for the creation of launch vehicles of the Angara family. That is, as in "lego" - on the same basis, you can assemble a rocket from a different number of blocks: light, medium, heavy.

As experts emphasize, the propulsion systems of the new launch vehicles of the Angara family use environmentally friendly fuel components - oxygen and kerosene.

Currently, the Angara space rocket complex is undergoing flight tests.

The Roscosmos exposition at the air show also presents models of the Luch-5A, Gonets-M, Express-AM5, Blitz-M and Casket spacecraft.
