OREANDA-NEWS   The entire GigaChat 2.0 product range has received an upgrade, including for business. Users retain access to first-generation models and can test GigaChat 2.0. The entire line is available to businesses in the cloud via the API, and it can also be deployed locally in the company's infrastructure (on-premise).

"GigaChat 2.0 is not just an increase in metrics and technical characteristics, but a significant step in the development of Russian—speaking large language models (LLM). We have created a model at the level of the world's best solutions, and in tasks in Russian the model surpasses most of them. Strong domestic neural networks are strategically important for any business operating in Russia. 15,000 external customers are already using GigaChat, and a powerful upgrade of our product line will allow even more customers to solve a huge range of tasks more efficiently. By improving processes with the help of artificial intelligence, companies will have a unique opportunity to stay ahead of competitors, increase profits and increase consumer loyalty," said Andrey Belevtsev, Senior Vice President and Head of Technological Development at Sberbank.

Based on GigaChat 2.0, companies will be able to create AI agents capable of reasoning and independently solving complex multicomponent tasks. To develop agents in Python and JS, you can use the LangChain SDK, with which GigaChat is fully compatible.

The new generation of models hold the context of a conversation much longer and respond to complex questions. Previously, approximately 48 A4 pages with text (font 14 pt) could be loaded into one query, but now the maximum query volume has grown to almost 200 pages.

The new models follow user instructions twice as accurately and answer questions 25 percent better.

According to the independent benchmark MERA for the Russian language, GigaChat 2 MAX ranks first among AI models. And according to the results of MMLU format benchmarks in Russian and English, the new model range is not inferior to the world leaders.
