OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2007. Under the charity program implemented by IC ROSNO-MS, several hospitals, based in Smolensk and Voronezh, have been donated medical equipment.

The Smolensk branch of ROSNO-MS donated to the Smolensk Clinical Emergency Aid Hospital the set of modern endoscopic equipment for emergency diagnostics of gastrointestinal diseases, costing over 10,000 US dollars.

This hospital provides emergency and first medical aid to all city and regional residents under the obligatory medical insurance program.

"Being used by qualified personnel of the city’s major hospital, this state-of-the-art and reliable equipment will facilitate improvements in the quality and timeliness of diagnostics of the large group of complex and dangerous diseases. IC ROSNO-MS is interested in competent treatment of the clients insured under the OMI program. Therefore, we plan to continue protecting rights of insured clients and make adequate contribution to the development of modern technologies in the healthcare system of the Smolensk Region", noted Ms. Elena Pestunova, head of the Smolensk branch of ROSNO-MS.

This is the second gastrofibroscope donated in 2007 by the insurance company ROSNO-MS to the medical institutions of the Smolensk Region.

In Voronezh, medical equipment (automated perfusors Compaсt-C Brown) were donated to the Voronezh Regional Clinical Hospital No.1 and the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital No.2. This equipment was handed over by Mr. Alexander Elfimov, General Manager of the medical insurance company ALMEDA, a subsidiary of ROSNO-MS.

"By providing sponsorship, our company is able to take real part in increasing the quantity of modern medical equipment used by medical institutions based in the Voronezh Region. Further improvement of the quality of medical assistance provided under OMI programs and protection of the insured clients’ rights are the major objectives for our company", stated Mr. Alexander Elfimov. The Voronezh Regional Clinical Hospital No.1 is the largest regional hospital and outpatient clinic for 2,000 patients, comprising maternity hospital, advisory outpatient clinic, and two standard hospital buildings. The Voronezh Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital No.2., with the capacity of 740 patients, is the region’s only medical institution specializing in surgical medical aid and treatment of child infections. This hospital also features reanimation and intensive care department.
